blackberry leaf tincture

Spend time at Solar Ripe’s peaceful medicine garden, in Fife, where you will meet some of Scotland’s native medicinal plants, such as St John’s Wort, Comfrey, Scot’s Lovage and Yarrow.

You will learn about how the plants can be used in healing and maintaining health, try them as teas, tinctures and oils, and end the day by making a herbal remedy that you can take home to use. The course is suitable for adults who want to learn about environmentally sustainable medicine. No previous experience is needed.

Toilets are provided at the farm buildings. There will be an hour break for lunch, 1-2pm. You are welcome to eat your lunch in the garden, or the cafe at the farm will be open. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
