Digging for Herbal Gold

The first day of winter is the perfect time to dig up roots for medicine. In this practical hands-on workshop we will dig up some roots such as Dandelion and Comfrey, and learn how we can prepare and make medicine from them. We will also learn some techniques to work with the energy/spirit of the plant, that will help us get to the ‘root of the problem’.

This day has been chosen as it is a Root day in the Biodynamic calendar, making it especially auspicious for delving into the world of root medicine. Participants will make a Dandelion Talisman and receive a handout to take home.

The workshop will take place at Solar Ripe’s Medicine Garden at Craigencalt Farm, Kinghorn Loch. Toilets can be found at the farm buildings. Please wear suitable warm outdoor clothing and footwear as we will be working outside. There will be a hot beverage provided.

Sunday 1st December. 1pm-3pm. £25. Full payment must be received before your place is confirmed, and refunds for cancellations will not be given after Monday 25th November. Please e-mail to book a place: herbs(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)solarripe.eu
