Medicine Wheel, Polytunnel, Yarrow Tincture and so much more!

It is July and there are so many beautiful plants and changes recently that I wanted to share some of them with you here.

Polytunnel, Raspberries and Rhubarb taken from top of site.

The Medicine Wheel is almost finished and nearly all the beds are planted up.

Yarrow Tincture made by filling a jar with the flowering tops and covering with vodka. It will be ready in a month to be used as anti-bacterial ally and I might try it as a ‘toothpaste’!

The tallest, thickest, lushest patch of chickweed I think I have ever seen! Have been having it as my salad portion most days and also added it to some Apple Cider Vinegar to add to salad dressings. There is some St Johns Wort in there somewhere too.

View towards the entrance of the site. The meadow in the centre is full of St Johns Wort, Self-heal, Ladies Mantle and lovely billowing Ox-eye Daisies and Grasses.

Incredible harvests of Black and Red Currants. Thanks to the birds for sharing them with me.
